David Westneat

David Westneat married 17 year old Sarah Ann Bedford on 10 Oct 1847 in St. Mary church, Bluntisham cum Earith Hunts. He was a waterman.

When his daughter Elizabeth was born 1 Oct 1852 and baptized 13 Mar 1853 in a St. Ives workhouse, David was listed as "at large". Elizabeth died in 1853. A second daughter was born in the St, Ives Union workhouse.

There is no further record of David or Sarah Ann, but there is a suspicion that they may have headedto Australia as well to meet up with Ezra or Ephraim.
