Arthur Sheridan Westneat (Continued)

Arthur's life was dedicated to religious service in several locations. In the 1920s, he served as pastor in Westwood, New Jersey.  In the 1930s he became an instructor at the Evangel Theological Seminary in Jersey City, New Jersey. and in 1937 he took the pastorate of a Baptist Church in Bayonne, New Jersey where he served for nearly 17 years.

Arthur and Alice, in 1954, retired back to the small community of Hudson, New Hampshire where they had first met and where Arthur had started his ministerial career. Arthur died at the age of 88 on December 4, 1965. Alice died at the age of 93 on October 13, 1987. Both Arthur and Alice are buried in the Westview Cemetery in Hudson, New Hampshire.

All of Arthur's descendants currently live in the United States and are one of two branches of the Ezra Westneat line to live in the US today.
